Here's the info! Unfortunately the info leaves my biggest question unanswered. That question is: Why? What's the point of this thing? Why did George Hofmann want it built and what did he do with it? It now looks pretty deserted with the blocked up windows. Although there is a door at the bottom with a sign saying something about a museum, it doesn't look like it's been open for a while.
