Time for a new collection of photos of interesting things. The other one is fairly interesting (so you'd hope with a name like that) and I filled it up as I went along, so go and take a look. I know you probably never bothered before! Sometimes I feel like crying, you people are so insensitive.

These are some photos I took on the last day of Routemasters on route 12. A lot of them aren't of the actual event because I was busy most of the day, they're just photos I took during the day.

Katie has a polaroid camera with lots of spare film, so while in America I took these photos. I only discovered it towards the end of my time there. These are all the photos I took in the order I took them. Some are good, some are bad, but I thought I'd put them all up anyway.

The only reason these two things are grouped together is because I took the photos off the camera at the same time.

These are photos of the second time I went into Chicago. I travelled in and out using the double decker Metra trains. While I was there I made a special effort to take some photos of the Sears Tower, and these are what I got.

To be honest, I don't use route 7 much so this didn't affect me very much. However, the last day was good to attend and they had some good buses there, including RM1! Sadly, my photos are all a bit rubbish.

Route 7 is due to be converted to OPO soon with its last day being the 2nd of July. I went out a few days ago to take some photos while I still could. Unfortunately though, the weather was awful and dark and I think the camera lense wasn't entirely clean so the photos I got were a bit unimpressive. I've selected the best of a bad bunch to put up here.
<br>I also have a few photos I took when I was out photographing the Olympic torch procession. Unfortunately, I had had a few pints by that stage and the camera I had with me wasn't very good. I've uploaded the best of those too though. So all in all a not very brilliant collection, but I wanted to put up some photos of route 7 and these are what I've got.

Various photos of buses that do not fit into other categories. All taken prior to the 25th of June 2004. A separate collection will be created for those taken after that date.

On Sunday the 20th of June two Routemasters were running as specials on route 25, RML2735 and RM1650 (the silver RM). They were running to commemorate three things: the end of First's contract to operate the 25 (it's now going to be run by Stagecoach), the end of double deck operation on route 25 (bendy buses will now be used) and the end of Routemaster operation on route 7.

I knew about it but had actually given up on photographing the event. In fact I was waiting at Stratford to catch the 69 home, when RML2735 suddenly appeared. These are the photos I got, although the camera I had with me wasn't very good.

Someone bought one of the Metroline Routemasters sold off after the conversion of routes 6 and 98. Here's what they did with it...

To celebrate the end of Routemaster operation by Stagecoach in London, a series of bus tours were organised. Unfortunately I could only go on a very short trip. These are the photos I took.

A very sad day, but a spectacular event too.

Photos of RM8, the first production Routemaster, and RT1702, an RT used to promote the Festival of Britain in 1950, on route 8 to celebrate the end of Routemaster operation.

This collection is of great importance because it contains the symbol of the modern era. In fact, that is the only picture it contains. Have a look now, it's for your own good.

These are photos from the week or so when the bendy buses were withdrawn because they kept catching fire. There were some interesting replacements around. At the same time, it was the last day of Routemaster operation on routes 6 and 98 and there were specials put on to celebrate.

I bought an Olympus Trip 35 off ebay recently and these are some of my first photos from it. Quite a few came out really well although I'm still getting the hang of the way it focuses. They don't look as good here as they do in real life because I think my scanner is a bit of a weak link. I'm not making excuses for bad photography there! It's the colour, brightness and sharpness of the pictures which suffers.
