The Hofmann Tower, more info about it to follow. Here's the info! Unfortunately the info leaves my biggest question unanswered. That question is: Why? What's the point of this thing? Why did George Hofmann want it built and what did he do with it? It now looks pretty deserted with the blocked up windows. Although there is a door at the bottom with a sign saying something about a museum, it doesn't look like it's been open for a while. They love their flag, Americans. Look at how smoothly the surface of the water curves over the waterfall. Ducks, which I did not feed. It's nature's way. Are they close to starvation? Or fat on the stale bread of a thousand homes? Interesting circular building just off Kingsway. It's not really forgotten, in fact it seems to be being done up at the moment. Some building at Covent Garden. You must admit, you wouldn't look at it twice, would you? From the middle of an LSE university building. Hardly anyone gets to see this! ChannelSea House. It's near West Ham station and is on the greenway cycle and footpath. However that makes it sound like it's a lot easier to get to than it actually is. Make no mistake, this building is in the middle of nowhere. A closer view of the main feature of the building the beautiful (that's sarcasm) brown tower with the words This should give you an idea of how isolated the building actually is.

An edited version of the photo of the bus. I like the way it makes the colours stand out. This is the photo I took a year and a half ago that I was trying to recreate. Notice the lack of the metal dividers, which were recently installed. This isn't the first photo I took of Aaron and Sasha. No, the first photo was of their legs, as I lowered the camera thinking the photo had been taken but then realising that it had just been the red eye flash. This photo was taken in Spitalfields market. Sasha was trying something on and wanted me to take a photo of it with her camera. Fearing I'd messed it up, I took this photo with my camera as a backup. Christchurch. Look at that horrible weather! This photo was taken outside the market in the COLD LIGHT OF DAY. It certainly was cold light, bloody freezing it was, with nasty grey clouds as you can see in the previous picture. The top deck of an Arriva DLA on route 242. Regent Street. I think this photo is one of the best I've taken. Some pylons and cables seen from inside the car. And this photo is quite good too. One of the buildings of the Illinois Institute of Technology, designed by Mies van der Rohe. After we returned from Michigan, we went to a supermarket in the evening. There was a PATRIOTIC CAKES SECTION! Can you believe it? It's incredible! And look how much buttercream icing these cakes have. That is pure fat and sugar. More patriotic cakes.

A A model A The St. Kevin's bus service operates between Glendalough and Dublin. We'd been reading about it so when we passed the garage we had to stop for a quick photo. The St. Kevin's bus yard with some absolutely ancient bus looking in a rather sorry state in the background. St. Kevin's bus!

A panoramic view of my bedroom. A Jag E-type I saw while cycling home from the station. Amazing! Jag E-type. My matchstick model (model is perhaps a misleading name, because it is not actually a model of anything) drying in the sun after I applied a paper coating to one section. Look, there are lines in the grass! This photo was taken in Finsbury Park when I was there on day 1 of RM50. What an impressive vapour trail eh? A sunrise, seen from outside the front door of my house. Another view of the same sunrise. I think that the way the edge of the clouds is parallel with the roof of the building is an amazing coincidence.
